Typical Obama, signs it, but excuses himself by saying he has reservations. A vote for Ron Paul is a vote for Obama, just as a vote for Ross Perot was a vote for Clinton.
How can Homeland Security portray white people as the most likely terrorists?

Because in the United States, they are.
Sodacrackers2… Ron paul is a Republican, so a vote for him will be the only real choice against President Obama. Hes going to win iowas primary. The other republicans support this as well as the patriot act so a vote for anyone but ron paul is a vote against the constitution.
“The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground.” – Thomas Jefferson
Ron Paul will win 2012. Get ready for it. :)

Bet you $10,000 you’re wrong.
this is why we need to support ron paul, for the record i wrote my congressman, lindsey grahmn replied back that “he felt it necessary to the security of america” in reply to my objection as a constiuent that this is an infringement of a right. tim scott replied back that this would not effect citizens. obama knew exactly what he was doing, the clock is ticking open your eyes. they have your name and mine, we are all on the list
Un-American!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saying he signed this bill “with reservations” is equivalent of ” I smoked pot but did not inhale.” This is wrong on all levels. This is NOT America.
They are preparing for World War 3
The MSM has not been saying much about this bill for a couple of months. The original Senate Bill part to include indefinite detention of American Citizens was introduced by Sen. John McCain (R) and Sen. Carl Levin(D) behind closed doors. There was a little amount of debate about changing the language in the final bill, but it was reported the White House would NOT sign the Bill WITHOUT the Detention clause. A veto meant no money to continue our current war strategy, so the final Bill passed easily. Only ONE candidate for President has been outspoken about this Bill because it is a CLEAR VIOLATION OF OUR CONSTITUTION. That candidate is RON PAUL.
The end of the republic is nigh!
This a treasonous act by the President and every Senator and Rep that voted for it. They have all committed an act of TREASON against the Constitution they swore to uphold. People of this country its time to ACT! Our power lies at the polls. The “ruling” class of this country need a louder message than 2010. LET THEM HEAR YOU LOUD AND CLEAR.
Obama’s pick for V.P., Joe Biden, coauthored the core of what would eventually become the Patriot Act (which was written BEFORE 9/11 ever happened). People should have known ahead of time that Obama would be terrible on civil liberties. He won’t even let medical marijuana facilities operate in peace.
This is ridiculous! We are losing are freedoms! Ron Paul 2012!
This is Tyranny! This goes against our constitution! There is no way this can be passed!
We desperately need to send a message to both parties – by supporting Ron Paul. THE MAJORITY OF BOTH parties signed this into law.
And they repeat over and over that Ron Paul is dangerous? He is only dangerous if the Constitution and rule of law is dangerous. He IS dangerous to the establishment tyrants who support this.
Change your registration now and vote for him in the primaries. At the very least it would put pressure on Obama to move toward peace and civil liberties. Romney, Gingrich, Santorum, Perry will all move Obama toward more wars and police state policies.
I understand that people have concerns about Ron Paul being racist and homophobic, but when the current president and other GOP candidates approve defense acts like this I, in all honesty, think stuff like his newsletters should take a back seat. If Ron Paul turns out to be a racist, I’d rather have a racist President that would end the war on drugs and free non-violent black drug offenders from prison instead of a non-prejudiced president that allows for indefinite detention of Americans without lawyer or trial.
Order will be restored in DC when it comes time for the President to pick up his retirement check
Obama loved passing this. Now he gets to further erode our constitutional rights. I would be shocked if anyone aproves of this. Even ex 4 and 5 star generals are against this policy.
Only one man is against this act — RON PAUL 2012
Happy New Year, Comrades!
You may show your “papers” to the nice uniformed man before boarding the train to your nearest FEMA camp for “re-education”.
Proud to be an Amerikan indeed…
If Ron Paul is not our next President, we will not recognize what’s left of our country.
It is time to stand for freedom — Ron Paul 2012
Oh so you guys believe material posted by Alex Jones. Cool. So you believe George Bush Sr. was in on the assassination of John F. Kennedy. Makes sense because he went from nowhere to being head of the CIA in a few short years.
Only one man is against this act

Nonsense. 93 Democrats voted against it in the House, but 190 Republicans voted for it.
The reservations are the places where people will end up who dare find fault with the state, or associate with people who do, or give them the time of day, or look sneaky.
The Constitution is very clear. The congress only has the power to instigate suspension of Habeas Corpus, and only during times of invasion or insurrection. Recently the New York Times asked the presidential candidates about the power they believe the president has. Only Ron Paul cited the Constitution’s rule about suspension of Habeas Corpus. Obama declined to answer.
IMPEACH! IMPEACH! IMPEACH! IMPEACH! IMPEACH!
This is a sad day for what used to be America. All of us have it ingrained in us from a young child what these United States of America stand for and we know this in our hearts to be against anything we have stood for. Our constitution, the bill of rights is who we are and who we will be again. I leave you with this on the eve of a new year. I ask you, who are we and what have we become? What will we have to do to become that once proud Union of people once again.
Ron Paul is the only sollution, he puts forth an honest picture of who we are and what he would like us to become once again. For the love of our country get registered as a repulican so we can become the proud people of these United States of America once again, and vote Ron Paul and only Ron Paul.
NOTE WELL. Obama objected when the senate removed the language which would exempt US citizens. Last I heard, they had not put it back in.
It is a red herring anyway. “First they came for the foreigners.” Mr. Obama, the “Constitutional scholar” should know that the organic laws of this country say “all men are created equal,” and that the rights which the Constitution specifically bars the government from abrogating belong to all, not only US citizens. Before the passage of the 14th amendment there WERE no US citizens, only citizens of the several States.
Senator Levin repeats himself in that clip but doesn’t speak it clearly. If that’s all you’ve got – you haven’t got anything.
Surely you must have another source?
Everything else I’ve read says it was Levin himself (along with McCain) who pushed for indefinite detention – under the military.
Did someone say, ” It is time for Perry” . Perry believes in this NDAA indefinate detention stuff and so do all the rest of the neoconjob Republican Candidates, as well as most Republicans and Democrats: EXCEPT FOR RON PAUL!
